If it is, it is the 1985 TAMU game, Guidry checked the play, hit Sammy just past the line and he took off like a bolt of lightning and LSU never looked back.

I agree with all the specific plays posted thus far. I would also include some Todd Kinchen plays, I think a punt return and pass reception vs. T A&M, and some of Chris Jackson's performances and of course, the Pistol's. One really obscure play that I would put on the defensive reel is when Ken Hollis darn near decapitated Jarius Norwood of MSU. I don't know if anyone remembers that, but even in slow motion it looked like Norwood's head flew off his neck. Along the same obscure lines, when Coleman (I think) hit the USC receiver and knocked him out cold before he hit the ground last year was worthy.

Absolutely! There was nothing special about the running ability displayed... but, what a program changing moment!
I tell you, I bet each of us will think of 5-10 more great ones not yet mentioned, just sleeping on it. It's a rich minefield.

Great thread. Everyone mentioned is great. Here are some I don't think have been mentioned yet.
Mauck to Skyler against UGA in 03.
Lavalais busting up Cadillac for a 7 yard loss on 4th and 1 against Auburn in 03.
Ali's faceboom of Boeckman in the NCG in 07.
Trindon's TD return against Arky in 06.
Skyler's punt return against Auburn in 05.
JR's bombs in the Sugar Bowl.
I'd also say a less obvious one would be Eric Alexander's TD recovery against Arky in 03. Momentum shifting play.
