If you didn't see it, the link on TD is below. Well worth watching. Reese handled herself very well in my opinion. I suspected Shaq may have been talking to her and she confirmed that she spoke with him every day. All of it is worth watching. We can move on along!

I agree. Shaq should hang a shingle advertising "Help for frustrated young athletes". Reese gave him credit for helping her deal with the pressure of becoming a Media Star.
Lotta pressure on a young star. She handled like a Pro.

Good to see Reese back, how awesome was Morrow? She sounded like a coach. She is the best player on the team IMO.

Morrow is so impressive and Williams is going to keep getting better and better. That's going to be fun to watch!

I loved this game. Started out a bit troublesome, but they came together well and played as a team, a damn fine team.

Morrow and Williams are the two best players right now and are playing fantastic. What I liked most was seeing how well they played off each other, especially in transition.

Morrow is really coming into herself on this team. Very consistent especially at rebounding.

I think Williams is the best overall player. Might be next season before most folks agree on that.

When our ladies turned up the defense in the 2ndQ, VT could not stay with us. With this team, it seems strong effort on D turns into points often. Johnson is doing whatever is needed for us to win. Lotta great scoring and rebounding options on this squad even without Smith.

Williams is probably the best offensive player. Morrow is the best all around though.

I was eating breakfast a couple of moths ago at a great place in far west Plano, Tx. Shaq was eating there that morning. Our waitress had to leave for a medical appointment and informed us Shaq was going to take her and pay for her treatment. We were all very impressed. Our new waitress told us Shaq had a home a few blocks away and comes there often for breakfast. Shaq is first class and I can see him trying to help Angel.

She clearly is. I said morrow would be the best player on the team when she transferred.

Williams is next in line though.

Definitely think this is a turning point for this team. They needed the reality check of Colorado and Angel's suspension. They dug out of a jam and dominated.

The fact that we have a point guard who is very dependable at her position, minimal turnovers and great ball-handling skills, puts a smile on my face also.

So she was out for 4 games to “deal with the pressure”?

Did they give an actual reason for her absence?

If you actually watch the press conference, you can pretty easily deduce that her head simply wasn't in the game. She needed to take a step back and refocus on basketball and her team.

Y'all leaving Big4 out of the convo. Flau'Jae's game has changed drastically. She is not the scorer she was last year. She is doing SO MUCH more. Rebounding, steals, assists and playing tight D. CKM mentions her in each of her pressers about how much he has improved her game.

No doubt. Big turning point and the 700 wins just topped it all off. Everything got me more excited about the season.

I don't think there was a single question about Poole this time which was mildly interesting. Of course, the answer was going to be the same. Maybe the press has given up on asking what they won't get answered.

The media hasn’t hardly asked any questions about Poole at all. I guess she doesn’t get them the clicks they need to make themselves seem relevant.

Scott Rabalais and Glenn Guildouche don’t seem concerned at all they Poole has been missing on the LSU bench.

Where was glenn guilbeaus shite stirring arse for this press conference? Despite the media firestorm with multiple national stories around Reese being out, this goes to show that CKM handled this situation perfectly. The media doesn't have a right to know everything and CKM was not going to cave to their pressure and hit pieces. As it turns out, this galvanized the team. Huh, I guess one of the greatest coaches of all time knows how to handle a locker room and controversy.

Mulkey called Johnson and HVL the unsung heroes for their defensive effort. And I am not shortchanging Johnson. She is excellent but Morrow and Williams have been a little better this year.

Alexis Morris was damn good at the PG last year. I like how HVL has performed but don't forget how good Morris was for us last year especially in the tournament.

Shaq told her Basketball is the Vehicle to the commercial success that last a lot longer than basketball. PR is her friend. Which is a better attitude
