Is this class loaded or is our talent taking a dive?

Vincent - Nickel Back
Delpit - Safety
Chaisson - Buck/D-end
Ingram/Charles - RG

Half of those are due to injury

Why the downvotes? If Arden Key and Donavaughn Campbell were healthy, we wouldn't need freshman to start at those spots.

Gonna be hard to fit the offense and the defense on the field together for the first series

The 3 defensive players were all high 4 stars or 5 stars, and all 3 have gotten rave reviews since they got on campus. Even with that the only reason Chaisson would play is injury.

The O-Line were also very highly ranked, but yes that's partly because we're thin at the position due to injury and defections.

4/22 isn't insane.

Especially when 1 is your nickel back.

Vincent and Delpit possibly starting is nice, but where is Fulton a five star. The other two spots are due to injury with Key and defection by Teuhema. Not saying the players listed will not be good,I just like to see it for myself!

Yeah when Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Neil Farrell, Tory Carter and Justin Jefferson play, don't tell them they were all 3-stars. They may totally freak out.

RB depth chart:
No. 05 Derrius Guice 5-11, 218, JR
No. 28 Darrel Williams 6-1, 229, SR
No. 22 Clyde Edwards-Helaire 5-8, 208, FR 3-STAR for 2017
No. 04 Nick Brossette 6-0, 218, JR
No. 27 Lanard Fournette 5-10, 201, SO

One of The Advocate sports writers, Mike Gegenheimer, had an article about a true freshman starting on the offensive line since WW II. I don't think this is correct. I believe the late Eric Andolsek from Thibodaux started at guard as a true freshman in '84. Obviously, Mike was probably born after 1984.

I don't remember him playing defense in the '85 Sugar Bowl against Nebraska, but if he did, it wouldn't be surprising since he was All-State on defensive line.
