Interesting that they think Bama would be one of our opponents. I think Ole Miss is a lock. Should be interesting who gets the shaft in this whole deal and who comes out ahead once these schedules are decided.

I think A&M is more of a lock than Alabama, though we might get both.

Let me save you the trouble.. bama always makes out like a bandit… they will somehow get Vandy as one of their permanents like in the old days.

Florida, Bama, and Auburn are our best games every year.

I'm sure the sec and ESPN would like to keep bama vs. lsu but does bama allow their perm opponents to be Auburn, LSU, and TN?

Can LSU be one of the teams without a permanent opponent? Let the teams that want permanent opponents have them and the teams that are ambivalent allow them to have a little more freedom scheduling from year to year.

Sankey made a comment about TV partners being a part of the discussion. The Bama/LSU games have been among the most watched games almost every year. It wouldn’t surprise me at all and I hope they are one of our permanents

We shouldn't have permanent opponents. Allow teams that want them to have them. Teams that don't are ambivalent about it allow to have non-permanent opponent schedules.

It's these stupid "traditions" that are driving the permanent opponent schedule. Let the schools that want the traditions to schedule their permanent opponents and the other schools to have non permanent opponent schedules.

OM State and Arky makes tons of sense.

There are now five former SWC teams in the league. They are going to play each other a lot.

Bama/LSU has been the biggest game in the conference(most years) the last decade plus. Since they can't do UGa/Bama yearly they do the next best thing, Bama/LSU. The big losers in all of this will be Okla,Tex and TAM as they've tried to get away from each other yet can't seem to stay apart. Fully expect those 3 to be permanent opponents. Add Arkansas or Missouri and the big 8 pod is set. Bama should clearly be Auburn,Tenn, LSU. UGA should be UF, SC and Tenn/Vandy/Kentucky. MS schools and the aforementioned east schools catch a break that they need, aside from OM/LSU.

Keep Bama so we can demolish them year in and year out after Satan retires this year.

Bama would never sign off on this.

I wish we’d have more than 3 permanent opponents and that the SEC still only had 10 teams. Playing Missouri, USC, Vandy, and Kentucky more often does nothing for me. I’d rather keep playing Ole Miss, State, Bama, Florida, and Auburn every year

ESPN is lobbying for Vandy, Mizzou, and an extra bye week as Bama's permanent opponents

Ole Miss, Florida, and A&M please. Although I could see them wanting A&M to play the former Big 12 schools.

I think Arky will be locked up with Texas, OU, A&M, and/or Mizzou. Alabama has UT, Auburn, Miss State or Vandy?

Auburn has UGA and Bama for sure. Maybe we could be their third?
