Leonard is a Wisconsin alum and will be the next head coach there

Mighy not be that simple.Paul Chryst is only 55 & will be there as long as he wants. Leonard may have to move on if he wants a head coaching gig.

A recent article had Zach Arnett, D-Coordinator for Mississippi State as a hot name. Seems like he'd be an Aranda type hire as an up and coming coach.

I would add Zach Arnett from MSU 3-3-5 defense

Marcus Freeman, DC, Cincinnati

I like this pick, but.....9:08 PM · Sep 7, 2020
Sources: University of Cincinnati DC Marcus Freeman has agreed to a new two-year contract. It pays $600,000 in the first year, with the $75,000 raise privately fund raised. Freeman was courted hard by multiple Power 5 schools and the NFL last off-season.

You at least pick up the phone and call Los Angeles Rams DC Brandon Staley. He’s only 38 years old and has spent much of his career in college. I’m sure LSU could give him a nice raise. NFL assistants’ contracts are not publicized but Rams head coach Sean McVay makes about what Pelini makes per year. I estimate Staley makes half that.

Staley is a young up-and-comer on the defensive side like Joe Brady is on the offensive side.

Y’all do realize that y’all said the exact same things when O hired then fired Canada right? Then we found Brady, he came with the quickness.

I’ve seen nothing but good things said about working for Coach O unless you not getting the job done. Which it is his job to make the environment uncomfortable if you aren’t getting the job done.

Y’all forget how we had all those USC alumni boasting about coach O. Things aren’t going well for us right now. Calm the hell down. It’s going to be ok.
