Poll

I voted yes. I don't think we should only play neutral field games in Texas alone. LSU has become a national brand and should play neutral field contest anywhere evaluable because it adds to the branding. Why not play a neutral field game in LA or NYC?

Yes, but if like to see them come down here too. Maybe a quasi home and home. Lambeu and the Super Dome?

You think about the same amount of people that went to Dallas for Oregon in '11, would travel all the way up to Green Bay?

ETA: Jerry World attendance for game vs Oregon 88,000.. Lambeau's capacity 80,000.

Spread it out over 3 years and have it as season openers

i think Lambeu (sp) holds like 80K so we at least take 20K, I just think that any LSU fan that would have a desire to go should be able to get a ticket if they so desire

Lambeau Field is not a neutral site at all. Make it a home and away and I am fine with it.

YES!

I could scratch Lambeau off my bucket list then and not have to freeze my butt off during a Packers game.

Or Rutgers...and could use MetLife (although it's in the middle of nowhere)...

I voted yes as well. I have long subscribed to the opinion that the Tigers should play anyone anywhere. Which is why when Les continues to whine about it being unfair that the Tigers have to play Florida as the permanent SEC East opponent it bugs the shite out of me. Play the "tough" guys the "name" schools have a high profile schedule. Good luck to McNeese and Towson and Furman but damn use Vandy and Kentucky or any ACC school as your cupcakes and your schedule will not look as cupcake-ish.

Athletic Director Joe Alleva said he's not interested in playing the game at Green Bay's historic Lambeau Field, that he'd rather game be in Texas, Houston or Arlington.

Of course that idiot Alleva isn't interested......if they sweetened the pot enough and the financials worked out why in the hell not? They could charge a little extra for 40,000 tickets there than they could for a game in Texas thus defraying travel costs. frick Alleva, he's a million times worse than Skip in regards to giving a rats arse about what the fans want(the ones who pay for the program). First he wants to move all premium OOC home games off campus......I wish we would have let his arse go to Tennessee when we had the chance.
