I was listening to Vandy's beat writer this morning on Jordy's show and he thinks it's going to be the lefty who shut us down in the Saturday game against Poche earlier this season.

How many time has this been gone over?
He pitched Friday and if he would pitch tomorrow that would be 4 days rest. You don't count the days he pitches.

Jesus. I know it's been almost 5 days, but he is used to going 7 days. Yeah, it'd be smart to wear out our only chance to go deep in the post season in the stupid fricking SEC Tourny
IF we can't win 2 games in the tournament, we don't deserve to host. PERIOD.
It's not like it's impossible to make it to Omaha as a #2 seed in a regional. Especially if that regional's other best team is ULL or UH. That's probably a much easier draw than if we hosted IMO.

Poches era is under 2 in his last several starts. He's really good. You probably haven't seen him pitch yet.
