If lefty righty lefty really better than simply throwing your best first? I mean against our OOC schedule yeah anything will work but once we get in conference play do we really want Poche instead of Lange to go up against the best guys? This isnt a shot against Poche, Lange is just a top draft pick type of elite with dominating stuff. A guy you want throwing in the 2-1 type of games.

Mainieri isn't changing what worked for them last season. They went 21-2 last season from that rotation. It's what's comfortable. Why make a change?

CPM has been around long enough to know when SEC teams are throwing their ace on Friday he's going to counter with his own to give his team it's best chance of winning.

By SEC time or shortly thereafter Lange will be pitching on Friday nights.
