Couldn't agree more! The leadership at LSU and specifically Alleva has shown supreme levels of ineptness. Miles for all his faults as a coach handled the last week like the good man that he is. He's just not the coach to bring championships in my opinion.

People who don't accept the basic truth about LSU football that I posted elsewhere this morning should become NFL fans and watch professional football, instead of LSU amateur football. The objectives of pro football and amateur football are different.

Nothing will change. What you see is what a Miles coached team looks like. Who he hires or fires is meaningless. Until Miles is gone this is LSU.

He's hired several 'terrible' ones then. To me that shows a lack of ability to evaluate talent in coaches or that Les meddles and is actually the reason our offense is terrible. Either way, not good for my confidence moving forward

No he hasn't. This offense regressed with Cam. Les made a bad hire, it happens. Replacing coordinators successfully isn't guaranteed and has been the downfall for many other supposed great coaches. Sean Payton just did this on defense. Some of u think LSU should win every year regardless of circumstance.
All of u that think Les is just too stubborn to have a good offense is mind boggling to me. He wants better offensive production more than all in here combined.

People like chilge who root for miles over LSU and accept mediocrity are the same people who think everyone should get a trophy. It's a sad day that LSU fans think the music city bowl is good enough and fans posting long messages saying winning doesn't matter

That's a great sentiment but what you're not getting is that HE HAS THE POWER TO HAVE MADE THIS HAPPEN ALREADY!

None of us swinging dicks in here can do anything but continue to call out the lack of production over and over and over and over.

He's in a position to get it done and he has not. Strong defenses has saved his arse for years.

And u have the power to be the absolute best in your own industry why can't u win the best in the business award 11 years in a row? Great sentiment really?

Didn't he have the last 4 years to get things fixed too? Because NFL departures are at a 4-year low and recruiting is at a 4-year high quote: 3. If Miles' team has a similar record next year and loses to Bama, Ole Miss, and Arky in our own division will your feelings that he's our best option remain? I think most prepared themselves for this being Miles's last year, and most understand that the program is stagnant now and that next year is supposedly the championship year. If he can't do it then, he probably won't.

Nailed it.

it seems that they didn't think it was the time to fire miles.

that's pretty much it.

I can make up shite about why, like you do, but I know that I can only speak for myself, unlike you.

It is not the OC'S fault. Miles has had Ficher, Crowton, Kragthorpe, the offensive linemen coach(don't remember his name), and Cameron. And guess what positigers, the offense is always the same because Miles meddles. He will not change, he is stubborn

Studwara and he was also the OL coach that year as well as the OC at like 400k a year. His offense would run circles around Cam's. But let's not let the hate for CLM override reality.

because he's a good coach and has survived 11 years and has already won more than most. What makes u think he won't fix it now that he can get rid of this OC who was absolutely terrible.

You used the word survived in your defense of him, not improved, not excel but survived. Interesting

Thank you. But you do realize he also had the beginning of Mett, Landry, Beckham, and Hill that year too

Mark Richt didn't survive this year. Neither did Steve Spurrier and they're in the east. Anyone that can be the longest reigning coach in this meat grinder deserves way more credit than most give him. How long have u been doing your current job,?if it's a leadership position and it's been more than 5 years you've survived some adversity yourself.
