I've been a season ticket holder since 1961, which makes me an old timer. But I do remember my Tiger history, and I can't remember one OC in all those yrs who was not ripped & eventually run out of town. Do you not remember that Jimbo was detested by the end of his stay at LSU & everyone was thrilled to see him leave? Now some here want him back as a HC. Cam is not perfect, & I'll hold the failure to have an SEC quality QB on hand, but beyond that, he cann't make a good wine with poor quality grapes. Just last yr his offense set LSU records that may last a long time. We have very young skill position players & the last thing they need during their development is to have to learn a whole new system.

The call for me on Cam is still pending. It was too early before this season to name him HC in waiting after the YR. Mett had and it's too early to label him as a disappointment after the QB play of this season. I think we will have a better measure of Cam as a OC/QBC in the coming yr.

Things are often not as black and white as some like to pretend.

i cheer for Les because he coaches for LSU. if Les wins LSU wins. this isn't a difficult concept.

admit that you'd rather see Les lose than LSU win and we can move along

no. You cheer for him over LSU. it's obvious at this point.

You're so blinded by your Less love you actually think people who love LSU are "bad fans" because they criticize miles.

It's insane.

your words give you away....

It's not threads like "LSU WON"...It's "Les Miles won", or instead of "LSU played great" it's Speedy's Les Miles record.

he's one man. LSU transcends him, LSU made him.

I dont want him to fail, this what you dont get. I know he IS a failure, who by dumb luck and the great players who choose LSU has lucked himself past where his talents would allow.

If we could all fail at the rate that Les Miles fails we'd all have a Merry Christmas.

One would think, but it's amazing how very "difficult" some find it to be.

How can any "LSU fan" not cheer for the LSU coach? Like wise, how can any "LSU fan" not cheer for the LSU QB or RB or WR who is on the field trying to make plays for LSU??? None of these guys want to fail.

The concept I can never understand is a "LSU fan" wanting a coach to fail...for any reason!

because I love LSU, not miles. Miles is a hired gun. His loyalty is to another school.

Our players chose to be here and be a part of the tradition. They arent even remotely the same.

Yeah, that must be why he has rejected their advances 2 times and his been at LSU a decade. You know, it's ok for Miles to be fond of the school he attended and fond of the place he has spent a decade at giving it the most successful period of football in its history.

I don't have to "love" Miles to be respectful and thankful for his efforts on the part of LSU.

For someone who claims to have this "love" for LSU, your continually trashing of a guy who has given the school you "love" such never seen before success is more than a tad odd.

When you get fired as OC at Ravens by the man that you hired at Indiana for his first job (Harbaugh) you have to be one devout a-hole.

The Ravens were known as defense only when he first got there. That organization owes Cam for actually bringing an offense to that squad.

Kiffin developed a running back into a QB whose team is now No 1 and kicked our arse.....

Sims was a dual threat QB out of high school. Threw for 2785 yards as a junior and 2288 yards and 28 passing TDs as a senior. That dude was far from a RB. He learned from sitting 4 years in a pro style offense. He has 3 experienced junior and senior WR starters. One of them has 42% of the catches by the entire team. FOURTY TWO PERCENT BY ONE GUY!!!!

The third string QB who hung around is a walk-on who is our holder for place kicks.

What does that have to do with him? Also, 2015 QB commit, 2014 #3 ranked dual threat, 2016 #1 ranked dual threat, and 2018 #1 ranked pro style QB. Has several other QBs he is on as well.
