I know this is a complaint of a lot of fans and ppl on this board. I made a point of paying close attention last night and its down right ridiculous. There were times when you couldn't even hear Dan Borne make announcements because of it. Other times it was played when the TGBFTL was playing. I have no problem with it when the band is making its way to the field and such. But that shite should never be played when the band is in the stands. LSU has always been unique in that they have a song for almost ever situation on the field. Now with the piped in music the band doesn't play half as much as they did just a few years ago. The Auburn band actually played more than the Golden Band. The bands are one of the things that makes the college football experience special. Now its turning into just another NFL or NBA game.

The best thing I've ever seen at a game last night, in regards to piped in music, was when they played the 4th quarter video. Instead of hearing the dramatic music with the highlights we got some piped in shite and a few announcements then at the very end of the video about 4 seconds of the actual video music. Whoever runs/produces the in-game shite show should be fired immediately. LSU is too big for such a clown show.

Too many student chants added to band songs. I for one like the piped in music.

I never thought there would be "piped-in-music" in Tiger Stadium. I'm in my 60's so what does and old person know?

It is so annoying when two full bands play at the same time

Inconsequential shite to you, but NOT inconsequential to other LSU traditionalists. We don't like having LSU football games turned into a GD NFL like spectacle, with all the wretched excess piped in ultra-garbage.

I really love that they're playing "Bitch I'm from Louisiana" before kickoff now

We typically don't play when LSU is on defense. Auburn's band played almost nonstop, all the time, especially when we actually played. Rude.

I booed the frick out of their band during their alma mater for playing their stupid A-U-B-U-R-N song during our alma mater. Rude fricks.

I personally liked a good portion of the piped in music. It gives the band a chance to rest as well as during a few songs it got the crowd back into the sleeper of a game.

I for one would never invite auburn's band back to LSU, they never quit playing!!! They played a damn song for everything, it was ridiculous! They played on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th down on offense and defense, they played when they had a punt botched, when they scored, when they were scored on, when LSU got a first down, hell they even played a song when they didn't convert that last 4th down to lose the game. It was obnoxious and annoying. I was sitting a little closer to their band on the 35 yard line so I know their band sounds louder but still. Our bands plays a lot but its not a fraction of their bullcrap.

One of the issues is TGBFTL has a marketing person sit with us to tell us when we can play and for how long, so that we don't play over a hype video or one of the many many many advertisements.

The away band doesn't have a person like that, so they play whenever the hell the want, as long as there is no game action going on.

It's the same when we are the away band.
