that could be a really rough last 4 games for LSU.

Don't really care about this thread, especially since most people's grievance is with the permanent opponent nonsense specifically. However, pretty badass of Wisconsin to open LSU-Bama-LSU in consecutive years.

Bama's got 6 or 7 games that could break either way. We'll see what happens. But I wouldn't be surprised if they finish 9-3.

Damn I wanted this on the rant....

But I agree I think Bama has lost some swag.. They will be real good but I can see three losses... At the same time this may be a year the SEC is left out of the playoff...NO dominant team. All teams will have at least two losses....

The bridge scheduling was also strange.

The talent they've lost on the offensive side of the ball makes me skeptical. Along with the fact that Coker hasn't lived up to expectations.

No way Bama has 3 off weeks, it's not possible

Amazing how different people percieve things. Alabama had a weak secondary and first year starter who's played some RB at QB and made the playoff and lost by 7 to the NC winners. They've recruited better than they have since Saban has been there in these last 2 years and have signed the craziest CBs classes they've ever had.

Tons of people say Alabama has lost some swag. I honestly think Alabama is about to go on another run.

ETA: Not saying it starts this year. This year has the potential to get bumpy.

And even more than the permanent opponent, it was the radical swing in rotational opponents that favored bama when the league expanded.

The hell do you want them to do? November already has 1 and sometimes 2 NC contending teams on the schedule. What's wrong having the tough OOC game be week 1?

That's actually a better move than what LSU is doing playing WKU and then the week off before Bama.. That's like two weeks in a row.. Bama is giving themselves a rest before the AU game...

lol, when strength of schedule all of the sudden is a factor, boom they get what appears to be a good schedule on the surface, but in reality is not at all. Arky,TEnn, and LSU @ home. UGA on the road is the only test here

This could be the season that the wheels fall off for Spurrier. I only see one for sure wins on that schedule [The Citadel]. my gut feeling is that USCe wins 5 or 6 games this season.
