At the same time this may be a year the SEC is left out of the playoff...NO dominant team. All teams will have at least two losses....

This is a foolish point of view. No one has any idea, at this point, if there will be a dominant team. Arkansas, Bama, Georgia, Auburn or LSU could mesh together well and go undefeated. Or there could be parity, and it ends as you predicted. But this could be said at the beginning of every year - only the names would change.

Our schedule looks like murderer's row right away and to end the season. Bama's schedule is actually pretty tough for a change.

I'm saying 9-3 at the moment. I don't like the last month of our schedule. If we go 2-2 during that time, I'll be happy.

Wisky game one in Dallas,

lol, we beat them with AJ and they had Gordon, which they now do not have. Not a challenge.

MSU, I dont see it.

Iron Bowl is a always a challenge regardless.

Sorry tigerfan, I downvoted your post by accident. I meant to upvote it. I agree you you, now that strength of schedule is a factor, their schedule looks a little better than years past.

Well if you want to play that game...Wisky beat AU in the bowl game and Au beat LSU by 34..... MSU is gonna be a lot better than most on here think IMO......

Tons of people say Alabama has lost some swag

I think this year will finally be where y'all start to dip a bit. Eleven wins or a national championship/playoff spot was the only thing that came out of the Crimson school the past 4 years. Now that other teams in the division are on a come up, y'all are scheduling actual tough OOC opponents (USC and FSU one each the next two years), and Tennessee is on a rise as your permanent cross division opponent, I expect a 1-2 game per season slip. I think you guys had your run. It was a ridiculous 7 year run with 3 national championships, 3 SEC Championships, a playoff run, and 7 straight 10+ win seasons, but I believe it has run its course.

I honestly think Alabama is about to go on another run.

This may be just bias, but I see LSU as the new torch bearer for the SEC. The next 5 years should be very fun...if you are an LSU fan of course.

That's actually a better move than what LSU is doing playing WKU and then the week off before Bama.. That's like two weeks in a row.. Bama is giving themselves a rest before the AU game...

WKU is no slouch, but I see where you are coming from. They are FBS opponent that went 8-5 last year and they bring back the #1 QB in passing yards and TDs (4830 yards 49 TDs) with 68% completion at an impressive 8.8 ypa. They bring back 4 of their top 5 WRs, their #1 RB who in addition to 1547 yards and 13 TDs on the ground added in 479 yards and 3 TDs through the air, and the #2 TE who had 230 yards and 4 TDs.

All in all they bring back their passer, 3353 yards 32 TDs, receiving, and all of their rushing minus 2 yards and a TD (2082 yards 20 TDs). This team brings back more yardage passing, receiving, and rushing separately than we do, more yards from scrimmage than we do, and a hell of a lot more TDs from scrimmage than we do.

Back on topic, LSU doesn't take a break after the bye. The last 4 games will be brutal. As 3 of those teams could be ranked. To me, it evens out.

of course, they play those powerhouses, Middle Tennesse, ULM and Charleston Southern, sure to give them a real test over in Tuscaloosa.

Everyone should beware of Charleston Southern, they are killers.

I see 3 potential losses for Bama. @Georgia, LSU, and @ Auburn. I think they could go 9-3 this year. As for us, I'm worried about @ South Carolina, @ Bama, and @ Ole Miss.

But yet all the ranters say Bama gets a schedule break every year...

That's because they have. They havent played the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place east finisher in 5 seasons. They got an extra home game in 2012. They haven't played UGA since 2008 and haven't played USC since 2010. To deny that bama hasn't benefitted from scheduling is ignorant

Bama's schedule is harder, but it's pretty close. It's not like theirs is going to be that much tougher than ours. Our last four games of the season won't be very easy either.
