He was long ago retired. He came back because he loves LSU.

It's really a shame for how much he coached that he managed to not be part of any of the 2003, 2007, 2011, or 2019 teams.

Pete is in his 80s. He left to be a consultant for coaching up the coaches. He consults for many colleges and also the NFL. Straight up legend.

Was on Arnsbarger then Archers staff, dumbass Hallman didn’t retain him so he took job at MSU.
