UF in 2008 had the loss to Ole Miss at home and several games where they simply escaped with a W.
Expecting or anticipating domination every game is setting yourself up for dissappintment.
Week to week 1 game at a time...beating the opponent THAT day is all it takes...1 at a time.

We have huge problems with pass blocking right now. I expect Stud to keep shuffling around until we find more continuity upfront. I think Collins has to move to left tackle. Mett simply is not as accurate when rolling out the pocket. He is a Ryan Mallet type of QB that wants to be in the pocket.
There is nothing wrong with Dyes comments, we have a way to go before getting to Alabama and we would have been run off the field by them on Sat. With that said we have a chance to improve against S Carolina and Florida in October. We get Bama at home and you can pretty much throw out the records just like Auburn.

It's not the Alabama fans that make me hate them. It is the Paul Finebaums that went to Tennessee but who sit high and mighty as bandwagon fans.
Did you hear Paul when Auburn was running over everyone. He was a Tiger.

I don't have a problem with what Dye said. If we played bama this Saturday I don't believe we can beat them unless they play a terrible game, but so far this season they are all out for 60 minutes. Come November we'll see how much we've improved. Hopefully by that time we'll have corrected some of our weaknesses, which right now are many.

Pat Dye has a lot in common w/ the current Auburn coach -- a mediocre at best coach who rode the coattails of a once in a lifetime player.

No, the reason LSU won the game was very subtle to people who dont pay close attention and allow the first quarter to set their opinion in stone.
The reason LSU won the game is because after Bama finally made a FG (maybe 4 mnin to go in the first half?), Richardson was held to under 35 yds rushing the rest of the game, LSU held Bama to barely over 100 yds of offense the rest of the game, and LSU ran about 20 plays more than Bama did the rest of the game. Most of you dolts who think Bama completely outplayed LSU in that first game are completely delusional.
In the end it turned out pretty even....just like the score.
And btw....do you seriously consider a missed FG from >50yds as an excuse? Do you REALLY expect to make those?

You missed 4 field goals of 45 plus yards. Just because you won the undeserving rematch does not diminish that lsu went to BDS At night and won. Jesus h Christ. Doesn't matter how or why you boneheaded gump. And, when LSU wins this year it will be 3 out if the last 4.

Dont forget that one was BLOCKED. He considers that a "miss" as well. Because you see, calling it a miss sounds more like Bama stepping on their own feet rather than giving LSU credit for TAKING it.
