To avoid the mess of parking near the campus, I was thinking about parking far away, maybe a mile or two, away and riding my bike to campus. I've never done this before and wondered if anyone had any advice on where a good spot to park would be.

I feel like trying to ride a bike through the mass of people walking would be very difficult. Good luck.

Just park in a bike rack near the quad away from tailgate areas.

I don't know where you would park. They are trying to prevent anyone from parking on the main streets coming into campus

I've done this when my son had daytime sports commitment and we couldn't get to BR until later. Parked on Nicholson on the shoulder, just past Brightside. Rode to campus and all around. Locked our bikes near Lockett. Piece of cake.

Park at the park by the lake on South Acadian. There are bike paths you can take around the lake.

Good suggestions. Scotlandville might be a little far but the Walmart might be an option. Is there any place along river road to park and ride the levee?

Where are you coming from? That's a pretty big factor on your getting out after the game.

Park at Plantation Trace on Highland. They'll never tow.

Ride your bike from there.
