Staying at the Baton Rouge Marriott... it looks like the traffic flow parking by the Law school we send me out the direction I'd want to go anyway... is that right?

It will. Leaving, I would try to go the back way to the Marriott. Not as much traffic. Go Dalrymple to Perkins; Perkins to Hundred Oaks; Hundred Oaks to Glenmore; Glenmore to Bawell; Bawell to College; College to Corporate.

Eat at Another Broken Egg for breakfast on Sunday morning. It's close to your hotel. Velvet Cactus, City Pork or Beausoleil (all on Jefferson) are also good dinner or lunch options for you close to your hotel. Do NOT go to a restaurant or hit up food stands for lunch on the day of the game. Some of the best Louisiana cuisine will be served up at tailgates all over campus Saturday. Just go up and ask. Do not miss out!

Be sure to come back after the game and tell everyone about your experience.

Hey "other" Tiger Fans! I just decided to stop on the Mississippi side of Memphis to sleep in a hotel instead of in the car. Son was happy about that too... although he was already "out" in the car.

I wanted to come back on and give a big hearty Thank you for all of the posts and suggestions. I think I'll see some of you at a tailgate on Saturday. I've got some good Indy and Midwest/Ohio Valley brews for you... all in cans! The Pumpkin Ale's have already hit the shelves and we have an award winning one I brought. If anyone wants to call dibs on one of those, let me know and where to find you. Hope everyone traveling arrives safely.

I'll come back on Sunday night, or Monday and update the thread or start a new one ...sharing my experience.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but remember no overnight parking allowed on the gameday pay area of campus (area between Highland and Nicholson). If you want to get there a little earlier there is free parking along south stadium drive and in the cow palace parking lot. This allows pretty ready access to I-10 after the game depending on where you are staying. I agree with the rest of the posters that you really need to plan on roaming around and getting the full experience.
