re: Our QB situation will play itself out

Regardless how it pans out Les will always fall back on AJ. He did last year when a change was needed. He did when JJ returned after JLee put together the best offense we have ever seen in tiger History. It's in Les' blood to do the wrong thing. This plays into LF's Heisman hopes by disarming our pass attack AGAIN.

Will be same ole shite as last year. Jennings will be #1 no matter how bad he plays, unless he gets injured. Miles will promise week after week that both guys will play and compete. Come game time all that hogwash goes out the window and Jennings plays the entire game. Post game he will say that the opportunity for Harris to play never materialized.
Rinse and repeat... You have to be pretty slow not to catch on to this.

I knew when I saw this thread that I could open it and expect to see this shite. Never fails that some asshats have to keep talking about five years ago.

I don't care which one starts. I have zero confidence in either

History has a tendency to repeat itself around these parts.

In all fairness, the Jefferson/Lee debacle is really the only sample LSU fans have of Miles operating with uncertainty at QB.
'05-'06 JaMarcus was clearly THE guy.
2007 Perrilloux arguably had the higher ceiling, but Flynn was a 5th year, highly rated recruit who was semi-mobile, above average, and could execute the entire offense.
2008-2011 JJ/JL
2012 Mettenberger and ?
2013 Mettenberger and a Freshman Anthony Jennings.
2014 Jennings and Harris.

AJ starts it's just a matter of time that BH gets his shot
You really think so?

Miles has a want ( :) ) for the intangibles BH brings to the table, big arm, escapability.
Intangibles are things such as leadership and moxie, things that Jennings seems to possess in greater abundance than Harris according to reports and were in fact that biggest factors in Jennings' ascension to the top of the QB depth chart. Harris' superior physical talent is readily tangible, which is why everyone wants him to start if he can grasp everything else it takes to be a successful starter.

I had to check the date to make sure this wasn't a post from last year.

I think you forget how loyal Miles is. He's not one to threaten his chosen starter with benching. So, what we know is that Jennings is the chosen one. This means that it's gonna take more than "letting the battle play itself out." Jennings will have to get hurt and/or lose a couple of games for us in order for Miles to make the switch. Miles doesn't fear losing a game on account of loyalty. Unlike the rest of us who greatly despise the thought of losing. I would pull a qb like a starting pitcher if it looked like he was gonna lose the game for having a bad day. Miles would lose the game first, then consider options going forward.
Why don't we understand this yet? Jennings is our guy, so get on your knees with the rest of us and pray that God will bestow him with a divine level of improvement.

Actually he did... The Auburn game ring a bell? Then Harris got hurt.

If you have read Miles' quotes since BH got here, he is begging him to step up an take the reins. Flame me if you want but Miles is no dummy. He sees that BH has more physical skills than AJ. He is at practice every single day. Miles has a want ( :) ) for the intangibles BH brings to the table, big arm, escapability.

Miles has kept up the program extremely well. However his QB failures will be his demise.
