Moved a DB to RB where he hasn't played since high school. Flat out can coach leading #15 Navy by 17!!! Will have the Cougars playing New Year's Day.

Agreed. He's excelled everywhere he's been so far. I would be happy with him. He's kind of a jumper though. That would be my only worry with landing him. I'd like another 10+ years out of the next guy.

As long as Jimbo or Herman is the coach next year, I'll be happy

Either Jimbo Fisher or Chip Kelly would be at LSU for 5+ years, assuming they were successful enough to warrant keeping their jobs.

Tom Herman might be at a major program for 2-3 years and decide he wants to coach at the NFL level.

Dude impressed the hell out of me on a recent radio interview

He has a masters from UT and is a member of Mensa. How many college coaches can say that? Add that to young and hungry and he will be a household name in the next 5 years

His team passes the eye test very well. If we don't get Jimbo QUICKLY I would grab Herman and not have regrets.

No.

There are/were questions about Herman's relative lack of experience. Otherwise? I think most people like him as the best 'up and coming' coach in the country.
