I don't have kids old enough to play any sports just yet, but when they are, they will understand the importance of good sportsmanship.

So all you kiddies hiding behind a keyboard and an idiot screen with over a million posts, just keep on bashing. You'll be singing a different tune when its your kids lying on the ground after getting pummeled.

GTFO ... my son played football for 10 years, both sides of the ball. He hit and got hit, and yes he got injured. It's part of the game, so if you're concerned about injury, my suggestion is to stay off the field, because chances are, it's going to happen.

As for sportsmanship, emotions run very high during a game. I have no problem if the players don't help up the opposition after a tackle. And I want the players to show emotion after a big play. You can't play defense effectively if you're emotionless.

Yes, definitely pick the man up, it shows your gentlemeanly nature. But if you just hurt his butt, then you are not talking fecal matter, you are just informing the man that he can expect more of the same for the rest of the game.

I like mathieu mean, he plays pissed off and he plays well. If it were another player than sure, but no one plays football as mad as Trex

Yeah... And there's not as much biting, gouging, sack grabbing, etc. Going on now days compared to then... Which makes this Kind of a weird complaint.

What do you expect it's football. It's a GROWN AZZ MAN's game, and Tyrann is the smallest guy on the field. Maybe he uses the trash talk to get him going.

To be sure I don't like to see trash talking. It's does leave sportsmanship to be desired.
If given the scenario that without trash talking TM7 or any other LSU player doesn't play as well than I would choose trash talking. But I have a hard time believing that if TM7 didn't trash talk he wouldn't be as good. JMO
