Our football scheduling is horrible.

Why do we play Arkansas year in year out the week after Bama, when the team is really beaten and down in the dumps. We should be scheduling a cupcake game the week after Bama.
Also we have to play @Arkansas every alternate year in November when it is really cold in Arkansas.
We should play Arkansas in September. At least that way when we play @Arkansas we play in warmer and more favorable conditions.
So instead of looking for ways to fire our HC and running off and then suing one of our best DC's, why does our AD not fight with the SEC to get us a more favorable schedule.

SEC offices make the SEC part of the schedule.

The schools do get some input but majority of the SEC scheduling is done by the SEC office. Fighting them over scheduling has obviously done nothing see permanent opponents.

You do know Arkansas lost 5 games this year and we had them at home right? Blaming the scheduling is a pretty lame attempt to deflect that our team just wasn't ready to play

Yeah, our bye week might be better the week after we play Bama. It doesn't seem like that extra week is used to form any kind of back-up game plan.

I do agree with this but mainly because i think the two weeks allow too much time for the team and coaches to think about the losing streak.

Maybe they should just play Bama in the first 2 weeks so we can know early on whether or not the season is worth a shite.

I think they should stop having the bye before bama and have it after. It hasn't worked going on 5 times now to have a break before them.

we have to play somebody after bama. and bama has to play somebody after LSU. the difference is that they win their game and we let Arkansas bend us over.
remember, we used to play arky at years end. and some people bitched about that too.
it is not possible for every team to make their own schedule. and suing Chavis doesn't have a damn thing to do with anything you are saying.

We need to play Arkansas as the BEGINNING of the year when they suck annually.
By end of year they have to beat us to make a bowl.

I agree. 2 weeks with everybody asking about Bama.Now with the losing streak the pressure on coaches and players is too much.
