You really don't see a problem with him completely whiffing on the hires of Canada and Pelini so badly that both will probably be gone after a year?

Can you tell us how Muschamp became the Defensive Coordinator under Saban?

You know I see you saying I said this last year about oh I could really give a s*** what people said last year about oh hindsight is 20/20. Whether it's fire both coordinators or O at the end of the year.

personally I think O deserves at least two more years but both coordinators need to go one right now

Yes, torches are ready.

He has shown the ability to fix shite of his own making by having the Athletic Department pay huge buyouts and make expensive hires.

Why wasn’t there more of a full court press/pressure from the AD and big money donors to do everything we could to retain Aranda and Brady?

Do you even remember the things being said about Aranda by this fan base last year?

go back and look at the three biggest pieces of the national title: Aranda, Brady, Joe - all three were either forced on O or fell in his lap.

Well said, sir.

We again get a glimpse of his true ceiling when he has no shoulders to stand on.

Not really. This Pelini hire may be his undoing

Let's start with with ONE halftime adjustment by Pelini, just ONE!

Not sure why we're so bad. I really hope that politics is not the reason, with the team being mostly black athletes. If politics are the case, I don't think it can be fixed by O.

But I digress. If politics were the reason wouldn't we be getting lots of de-commitments from recruits?

And yes, O needs to make sure Pelini worked out before taking shots at Aranda. That was stupid of him.

I liked the O hire and he obviously deserves time to fix all this. Won't cost us Jimbo or Tom Herman $$$ if O can't fix it. Guess Urban Meyer is our next HC, right?

He will get his chance to turn it around so we will see. But other than Brady he has not made the best coordinator decisions and there is serious cause for alarm.

Most of us, and Woody got caught up in the one team one heartbeat, LSU standard, we com in’, RTWFU stuff as primary reason for 2019.

We were wrong, the multiple chess playing coaches left and we’re stuck with coaches who find Connect 4 challenging.

If Urban Meyer wants to coach at LSU, you hire him.

I expect improvement this year and then mass coaching changes next year. I’m really surprised at the re-emerging hate for Orgeron. It’s really hard to understand at this point.

The vitriol is not surprising. People who were not sold on O before were just waiting for a stumble so they could re-emerge and call for his firing. It's what happens with fan bases. We get upset and let out the frustration by calling for everyone's head. The time frame for "what have you done for me lately" has shortened significantly. These people weren't calling for O's head when they were singing "We are the Champions" in January.

Everyone will have their own statistics to prove any point they want. What I've seen is someone who has grown and developed and made the changes he needed to make when he needed to make them. Based on what I've seen, I expect more adjustments and changes until he gets it right. I think it's early to speculate on coaching changes in the off season. We have 7 more games in front of us. It would be smart to work with your staff to do what needs to be done first. Then at the end of the year if it's still not working you hand out the pink slips.

I think Brady always wanted to go back to the pros and Aranda wanted to be an HC. There was nothing LSU could've done. Hiring Pelini otoh was inexcusable

Theres probably about half the posters on this board that lay in wait all last year waiting for the team or O to screw up, now they jump out and say “I TOLD YOU SO”

It’s really sad and pathetic to go after a Louisiana guy who has given his all and brought home the bacon so recently.

And not just complaints about his coaching, going after him personally. It’s sickening.
