We have an OC who cant and doesn't call plays on 3rd down or in the red zone. he couldn't, can't, and didn't install the offense

Would you hire E to be the OC anywhere? does that sound like an OC? what is hard to understand?

O is a dline coach
E is a te coach at best

O let 2 great coaches get away that he should have done everything to keep, and I'm not talking about aranda and Brady.

You really don't see a problem with him completely whiffing on the hires of Canada and Pelini so badly that both will probably be gone after a year? Not even mentioning Esminger and Linehan. He can't just get second chances every time on huge hires busting immediately.

Why wasn’t there more of a full court press/pressure from the AD and big money donors to do everything we could to retain Aranda and Brady?

That's O's failure.

I’m really surprised at the re-emerging hate for Orgeron. It’s really hard to understand at this point.

It's not hate. It's criticism because he created this shite-show with his coaching hires. In the corporate world you're only as good as your last quarter.

No one expected a repeat of 2019. Most reasonable fans expected a few losses and some growing pains. These aren't growing pains because we aren't "growing."
If anything, Mizzou is worse than Moo U. We've had a few missing players return.

O deserves every bit of criticism. This is his program. Yelling "lets go" from the sideline" and "1-2-3 LSU Tigers go to war" ain't coaching.

They both were looking to move up in the coaching world, money wasn't going to help that.

And if you go back and look at the three biggest pieces of the national title, Aranda, Brady, Joe, all three were either forced on O or fell in his lap.

I agree on almost everything you said but that is emphatically false. He recruited the frick out of Joe Burrow and no one forced Joe Brady on him.

No but Brady fell into his lap. Brady happened to be sent over by the Saints to do a presentation on the spread. And it was actually E who suggested O hire him.
Burrow was recruited by O, but it all started bc Bill Busch knew about him from his time at Ohio State and was friends with the Burrows.

I never said O didn't do anything right. He did make the decision to hire Brady and he did recruit Burrow successfully. But nothing about those hires/recruits seem particularly replicable. And neither was the result of O doing a thorough nationawide search and decision making process

Shut up, O brought us a Natty now y’all ready to set his arse on fire. If O has done anything since taking over, he has shown the ability to address/fix shite

Do you mean fix the very issues he has created?

let’s not act like Miles didn’t leave that roster in shambles. O had to build & piece that 2019 Natty team together. Don’t be foolish

You would think he would be astute enough to hire similar coaches that led to the success of 2019. Instead, he leaves E as OC, replaces Aranda with Bo and Brady with Linehan. Makes you wonder if he even understands why 2019 happened. Also, signing them to ridiculous contracts when nobody else wanted them is inexcusable. So if he is wrong LSU has to pay the hefty price or be stuck.

As I have said, O is at a crossroads. He has done nothing strategic to suggest he is equal to the task ahead. Time is running out quickly. Oh, and where is Woodward in all of this?
