He's not what this board wants either

The Coaching Changes board is SUPER anti-Orgeron

If LSU wins Saturday, that board is going to have a complete meltdown.

His whole fricking interview was great.

I don't know how anyone can not want the guy as the head coach. His personality and approach is great and the team has played pretty damn good under his coaching

This guy has guts we haven't seen in a while. While he's been on staff, he could only do so much in his previous role.

"Look at his coaching record from 10 years ago at Ole Miss.

Is any other program going to interview him after the season? "

Lol Love the answer. He should have also added "No the country club guy - That's Sarks. Having drinks with the uppity CC neighbors while screwing their young hot daughters". Lol

Yeah, this guy is great. Helluva coach, a stand up kind of coach you would run through a wall for, he's funny, and most importantly to y'all he's one of y'all.

you say this in a way to suggest it's absurd doesn't make it any less true. That's like saying "derr They said the ocean is blue! The sun rises in the east!" as if it isn't true. Love the guy, want him around LSU as long as possible, but LSU should try to get the best coach available. He isn't the best coach available by any objective measure.

So he was upset because they wanted to hire a coach that fit the "culture" of the program

Meanwhile he's campaigning for a job by hitting home the fact that he's "a part of the culture"

Things that make you go HMMMM

He's not my first choice, I just think all of you on that board are WAY over reacting. He's not the first choice, but he's not the worst choice

Pretty much the way I feel. Make Herman and Jimbo say no first. Coach O with Aranda and a new, highly-respected OC wouldn't be anything to cry about.
