Is it really that simple coouch? Most of us feel your players and coaches are failing in every phase of football except on special teams.

Problem is he has no idea how to identify the problem and doesn't listen to his assistants

Coach O has a bigger problem than he seems to realize.

He has no clue. His assistant coaches and players know it.

It’s not that hard.

Are the breakdowns in just one position group? That’s your problem.

Are the breakdowns limited to one side of the ball? Then look there?

Are the breakdowns in strength & conditioning, or play calling, or whatever? Find the person in charge and correct it.

Are the problems in every facet of your organization—from player buy-in and development, through play-calling, through on-field performance—and have been consistently terrible? There’s only one guy in charge of everything...

How would he know how to fix the problem? He’s never been a coordinator on either side of the ball! And he keeps robbing the nursing home for the coordinators he hires to do what he can’t!

Reminds me of the quote in Rounders- "if you can't identify the sucker at the table within the first 30 minutes, then you are the sucker"

To paraphrase: if he can't see the problems with this team, then he is the problem

Coouch went young with Brady and it paid off huge in drawing a Royal Flush, why is he so timid to do so now?

because the fan base gave Brady all the credit last year and he knows it.

I think last year proved that he listens to his assistants with letting Brady completely change the entire offense. The problem is that this year, Orgeron nor the assistants seem to know what the problem is.

Because those types of people don’t come around very often and may be a once in a lifetime find. To find another Brady would be like winning the lottery twice.

from player buy-in

something or someone from the outside is contributing to this.

yes, orgeron is HC and the success/failure is due to him. but it's bigger than haphazard cohesion.

I agree but I’m just stating the obvious.

Younger assistant coaches would certainly solve the problems. Getting beat up by an Auburn defense coached by that bright young Kevin Steele proves your point.

Here is O's biggest issue/downfall. He can't stand that Brady and Aranda got all the credit on the coaching staff last year.

Everyone likes to compare O and Dabo, but Dabo puts his ego and what's best for the program ahead of himself.

O would rather take jabs at Aranda for no reason and prop up E because he won't steel the limelight from O.

If coordinators are replaced, it won't be any up and comers that would overshadow O.

O got his money, it's going to be done his way which means nobody is going to be bigger than him.

Difficult to recover from the loss of a great senior class but we seem to consistently lose juniors and that is too much to overcome
How different is this year with Phillips and Queen at LB?
We seem to lose more juniors than anyone
