LSU playing yesterday in a live game and keeping momentum all week. The Beavers have just been practicing. When you're good, you're good. But, any other intangibles that could lean towards a win tomorrow.
In '98 we were all set up for a Three-peat. Just needed to beat USC once to get to the Championship game. It didn't happen.

I want to believe.

edit
LSU 3
Oregon St 1

LSU 6
Oregon St 1

I agree - the extra rest will likely result in us winning by 10 or more runs. Let's get it.

They all have normal haircuts. None of their guys are nicknamed "Psycho".

Now that's a little ridiculous. If you mean winning by 5 runs both Friday and Saturday to get to 10, that's different.

Four days off just means all their remaining pitchers will be close to their normal schedule. Obviously, LSU would have been happy to change "positions" with them.

Oregon State has about every advantage a team in the CWS can have. LSU would have been better off seeded #7 than #4.

Personally, I think LSU will win on Friday narrowly. And then lose on Sat. Just my guess.

LSU can beat Oregon State and if Lange is pitching his best then they most likely will beat them, but beating them twice in a row will be a tall order for any team. I'm hoping that 13-1 win has them a little over confident, and also knowing they don't absolutely have to win this game will have them a little too relaxed. They are not that many runs better than LSU. If we could hit that night that game would have been completely different. They're not going to get the luxury of 12 walks either, so I could see LSU winning the first game and the second game being a serious battle that could go either way. They roll the ball around a lot and you canning make errors, and that is not normal for LSU either.

Well that unfortunate because we will see "Psycho" several times more and it is pure joy to watch him work his fastall which he calls "The Terminator". Even if he only pitches Friday the Beavers will witness GREATNESS.

Additionally something is in the water in Oregon as they have "Pedo" , the sexual pedophile who they left at home, and now an Oregon basketball player is transferring to LSU who is alleged to have comitted sexual assault.

And you want to talk aout haircuts?

Shoot why stop at 10...we should beat these dudes by 20 with that extra rest/rust they got.

Every pitcher on their staff would be an "ace" at at least half the major D1 schools. There really are no weak links.

You don't know the facts, nor do I. Wait for the facts to be revealed before comparing the basketball transfer to a convicted incestuous child molester.
