Oregon fans say our fans are terrible

First i want to give props to a great team. They were ready and we weren't. They have a phenomenal D in every spot and they will be tough to handle all season long. With that said.... I have never met a more arrogant, bigoted, racist fan base in my entire life. One middle aged female LSU fan commented to a friend of mine on friday night that they were glad Jefferson was suspended as they preferred a white qb. Comments like this were not rare either.... Out of the many WSU, OSU and UW games I have been to, I have never had an opposing fan physically push me or hit me until tonight. I was talking to two female LSU fan's right before the last LSU touchdown of the first half. THey scored and some redneck piece of crap came up and shoved my face right in front of security. Nothing happened. I hope we never schedule those pieces of crap again. I don't know what everyone else experienced but this opposing fan base was not popular with our group. I'll take Tennessee over them ANYDAY!

Re: LSU Experience Interacted with plenty of nice and humble LSU fans here in Dallas before, during and after the game. However, I saw three fights or near fights pitting LSU fan vs LSU fan. I saw a very drunk 50 year old woman screaming and curing into her phone at someone just outside the stadium. The police had to come and round her up. Two incidents where LSU fans yelled the N word. One at a black guy tailgating and another in one of the previously mentioned fights where one LSU fan called the other a f'n n-word. Oh how do I miss the pompous, arrogant, congenial, good mannered, high heeled and loafer wearing Auburn fan!

My wife and I had no problems with LSU fan while in town for this game. In fact, we met and chatted with a lot of very gregarious older Tigers fans, both at the stadium and at our hotel. From observation and interaction this weekend: (for the most part) 40 years and up male Tiger fan is very knowledgeable, in most cases seems educated and is very welcoming. A pleasure to talk to. (for the most part) 40 years and up female Tiger fan is a loquacious cougar in training, who's apparel looks as though she has a deep fascination with a Bedazzler; IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FLASHINESS! For the most part, still a pleasure to talk to. (for the most part) Mid 30s and younger male Tiger fan is an obnoxious, vociferous, collar popped, polo-shirt wearing drunk, who is more than willing to turn is visor around and get in your face BECAUSE HE'S DRUNK, SO HE'S TOUGHER. (for the most part) Mid 30s and younger female Tiger fan is an above average looking brunette Southern belle, who's mouth runs faster than Cliff behind the wheel of a Nissan and lacks cooth on many levels. Any racist comment I heard this past weekend came from this group of ladies, who, in many cases, were either the girlfriends or wives of the abovementioned younger male Tiger fan.

Is this the new moral victory of college football?

I'd agree with the OP. Some of our fans were just drunk dumbasses after the game. I know every group's got em though. LSU has their fair share. Hopefully most people just look past the retards.

Yeeah If we could jus get them black fellers off our team we'd all be happier.
Give me a frickin' break.

Am I supposed to care? We kicked their arse with a quarterback that most fans would rather bench including myself. If we can handle them with Lee, I could care less what their fans say!

Seriously, how often do you see the popped collar look at an LSU game? That look has been dead for years. There's always some creative writer after we drop the hammer on another team.
P.S. Our fan base is getting weak. No piss balloons or batteries.
