Opinion on standing for the last out

Need the rants opinion on standing for the last out of a baseball game.I’ve always like when the stadium stand and gets loud for the last out, especially in a close game. Got bitched at tonight because we were standing and clapping for the last batter. Am I the a-hole or should the old hag stand up for 30 seconds before she walks back to her car?

While I do try and be conscious of the people sitting behind me when I stand if the row in front of me is standing screw that I am standing.

Our family once got yelled at in tiger stadium for standing during 2019 UF vs LSU on 4th and goal in the 4th Q. I was in disbelief.

It’s crazy that people go to sporting events and get mad when others stand up and are excited. It’s not like I was at sanding in the middle of some random at bat in the 4th inning. It was the last batter in a 2 run game with a chance to win the series against a top 10 opponent. And I got hit with the “sit down some of would like to see the last out”

South endzone. Which was the end zone Florida was driving. These clowns were ready to fight. Older couple with maybe their friends. Always hope to get the same seats to piss them off again

This is every stadium now a days. Never forget and I’m from the country and my grandma would have whipped my arse but I stood for a big play in Ole Miss LSU Fournette throwing people into the stands game. She literally pulled my shirt and told me sit down. I turned and said “frick you why you hear if you aren’t going to cheer”. Her husband that I gave nuts to shrugged his shoulders stood up and started cheering. White women. and their pussy arse husbands have destroyed this country.

I did sit down because there was one strike left to be called and it wasn’t worth my time to argue. If a 50 something year old lady can’t stand for 30 seconds at the end of the game when 90% of the stadium is on its feet, maybe she should buy a front row ticket or watch the game from the house.
