Are Oregon fans just dumbasses? If you're wearing Oregon garb and some people in Tiger gear walk by and say "Tiger bait, Tiger bait", isn't it pretty obvious that they mean "because you're a fan of our opposition, you will bait Tigers toward you".

That was a great novel. And, most likely very accurate. But unfortunately, it will not do very much good. Every fan base grows to hate the 'Tiger Bait' yell. It may be a bit juvenile. Irritating? sure. But, you are talking about a fan base supporting a GAME.
Not every LSU fan (myself included) yells Tiger Bait. Just as I am sure not every UO fan smokes weed on an hourly basis; nor do I expect every UO fan to hiss at me like the weird UO fans that I just saw at the gas station down the road from my house (I'm not even IN Dallas). We are a diverse fan base, with many common traits - most of all, we love having a good time and are notorious for bringing the opposing team's fans into our parties.
So, if a little Tiger Bait'n gets UO fans a bit unsettled, sounds to me they need to loosen the hell up because they may miss out on a really good time.

Hey look guys. I was only trying to do you a honest favor and help you out. This was not for all the LSU fans. This was only for the LSU fans who will be in Dallas. And I only was looking out for them and not wanting for them to feel snubbed. I was basically only just trying to let you all know that in our eyes(those who are Ducks, or just general West Coast fans) that they all will not have a remote clue what that means or what you are doing. So your "cute" little thing will not have its effect.
As far as it being your tradition. I am cool with that. And go on and do it. But if I was a LSU fan, and knew this Intel, I would first educate them on that meaning first so they would get your joke, and then Tiger Bait them. They simply will just stand there and not get it.
Look, I did not mean to start any trouble or anything. I only posted this to try and help you guys out. And while a LSU fan might shout out TIGER BAIT really loud while pointing his finger at the Duck fan, the Duck fan will simply not have a remote clue what that means and will figure you must have the maturity of a 5 year old. And I only did not want my fellow Duck fans to think of LSU fans in that way. And I am not alone. In the past year I have seen several different LSU fans try to point this out to their own with this, ie. how the others who do not know of this view this act.
Anyways, I am done posting in this thread about this. If one does not want to take my advice in trying to help someone, that is fine with me. Do whatever you you want to do. But do not be shocked at the response is all gents.
Good luck on the game tomorrow. It should be a really close game and major treat. To the 10 percent of fans on here that are not Rantarded, I wish you well and hope you have a great Saturday.
