For even those two teams, it took one 50 attempts and the other 55 attempts to do so.

LSU didn't meet it Saturday against Louisiana Tech, who passed for more yards than any Dave Aranda Tiger defense has allowed.

2015- 3 teams went over 300 yards (MS St, WKU, Texas Tech)

2016-2018 (29 games)- 2 teams over 300 yards (Syracuse, LA Tech)

only two teams have passed for 300 yards against LSU since Dave Aranda took over in 2016.

3 wins with at least 54 attempts too.

Getting 300 against LSU is going to take a ton of attempts.for most of the last decade.

That is what TECH does, it is their scheme.

Too bad our offense couldn’t help out our tired defense that was on the field all game.

But you’ll never mention that

That's also exactly what Ole Miss is going to do. Except they have a more talented QB and the best WR group in the conference. Secondary will need to step up and meet this challange head on next week, proving they really are DBU.

The trend appears to be against second tier teams that fell behind early. Tigers probably weren’t fired up to begin the game, then mailed it in once they got the lead.

Plus, I remember reserves getting a lot of playing time in a couple of those games.

Patrick Mahomes was impressive in TTech’s loss. He’s proving to be pretty good. NFL defenses are having problems stopping him.

Man, this would be some great news if we wins and losses were determined by whether or not the other QB threw for 300 yards or not. This stat, while impressive, really doesn't mean anything. The fact that two teams that did throw 300+ were games we won anyway attests to that. Team don't need 300 yards in the air to beat us.

How did Aranda let us blow a 24 Point lead ? Oh wait, that was O’s fault. Only praise goes to Aranda, and only blame goes to O. Sorry. I forgot the Chicken rules. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I’ll get better.

in 29 games, aranda has given up 24 or more points only 6 times, 3 of which were losses. it's safe to say, the defense has never really been the problem.

fwiw, bama in that same span has given up 24 or more on 4 occasions, 1 of which was a loss. of course they are scoring A LOT more than lsu so there's that

of all the things going on with the fb program, aranda being a problem is not one of them. the guy is flat out getting it done despite a completely pedestrian offense and occasionally bad special teams

You do realize the offense ran 76 plays. This was more of a defensive issue. That's usually not the case
