Why do you assume people not liking the game = melting. LSU is not very good this year and is getting a crappy bowl. It was expected.
Not liking the crappy bowl we ended up with, especially because those of us that work can't even watch it without taking vacation time is the stupid part. Play it at night, because a day game in the middle of the week is stupid.

Maybe it's just an Alabama thing, but we enjoy beating ND as much as Auburn. It just brings out this visceral response to Bama fans. Definitely routing for LSU in this one.
Can be cold as balls in Nashville sometimes at that time of year. Last music city bowl we went to in 1998 was in freezing rain against Va Tech who just beat us badly.
