Don't think anyone with sense is upset. I would have preferred the Texas bowl, for our fans and exposure with a 8pm kickoff.

And if you think zero of our recruits are going to watch our bowl game, I'm not sure what to tell you.

That's your own argument, brah

Texas would just be better. That's all.

Texas is a boring team. We play in Texas like a thousand times. I mean we've already been twice this year, so I'm glad we are headed away from it.

Texas in prime time would be better for recruiting than Tennessee on a Tuesday afternoon, genius.

The recruiting line of thinking for a bowl game is overrated. We've already been there twice this year anyway.

Yep, and LSU has more Catholic students than ND does.

I understand this argument, but I would think that recruits giving us consideration would still pay attention to the game we're about to play in Nashville regardless.

Basically, yeah, recruitment edge in Texas would be nice. However, I think the recruits will still take notice.

Well we are losing OT Jerry Tillery to ND.
Maybe if we spank that arse he will change his mind

Unless it's a semi-final game, but yes I agree.

Let me guess. You'll just happen to be in Tennessee when this game is happening?

I'm going to fly in for it, partially because my fiancee's family all went to ND.

I would have been happy for LSU to play Texas. But melting because we got ND instead is just moronic.
