One thing I haven't seen mentioned about Florida.

Through all of this....and I'm sorry if I missed it....is that Florida has the opinion that they are too good to travel anywhere. Playing anywhere other than Florida wasn't even a consideration.

The University of Florida has not played an out of conference game outside the state of Florida since 1991. Yes. That's not a typo. 1991.

While I realize this is an in conference game, it tells you a bit about what they think their worth is, and how willing they are to accommodate anyone else. I know the game could have been played on Sunday or today in Florida. But would you expect an athletic department with this type of attitude to entertain any options?

They talk about that on Sirius radio all the time. How LSU and Bama will travel and play other good teams and then examples of teams that never do and always bring up that Stat. They don't even travel for bowl games. They gave back like 3500 tickets to the Sugar bowl. WTF?

Damn, where did you find that stat? I guess that's because they play 3 cream puffs and have FSU every year. But still, you think they would have left Florida at least a few times with some decent opponents outside of FSU.

I know their excuse has always been that they don't want to play anyone good out of conference, because they have to play Florida State every season.

But I mean, South Carolina and Clemson have played plenty of high-profile out-of-conference games if memory serves.

They're playing in Dallas next year. It'll end the streak.

I hate Florida but to bitch about them not playing anyone out of conference and then cite them playing Fla St every year is just comical.

We're talking about away games out of state.

Connect the dots.

Man, you had to be triggered to come onto our board and post twice. Go back to your private board and hide like your team did last weekend.

TCU was #20, West Virginia/UNC were Top 15, then we beat their arse and they fell.

I kid you not, they actually had a caller on Finebaum from Florida say that if they came to play in Baton Rouge they would have gotten gutted. That's some next level pessimism right there. At least act like you would have had a shot to win.

People are over rationalizing what happened and are acting so naive in order to give people the benefit of doubt in the face of a storm.

It's obvious Florida used this as an excuse not to play LSU. It would have been easy to play the game on Monday or at an alternate site. Hell, Tampa was available.
