Not really. LSU usually plays 3 or 4 teams that they pay to come and take a whipping, and a couple of SEC bottom dwellers

so that leaves like 4 or 5 competitive teams every year, and they split those games.

I don't want Miles fired. I just want him to stop making dumbass decisions.

I want him to stop clapping like a retarded seal on the sidelines.

I want to take his finger out his ear.

I want him to stop looking like a lost child and roaming around with his arms crossed.

Also, I would like him to understand the concept of time.

Thank u..I don't know about these other guys but I don't want to go back to storming the feild when we beat teams. Our fans are spoiled and that's the problem. I'm not a sunshine pumper because I know our coach is a bumbling idiot but there is no guarantee that changing coaches will improve our record.

I see the same thing happening to us that happened to Nebraska and Frank Solich. He went 9-4, 12-1, 10-2, 11-2, 7-7, then 9-3 and they fired him for that. They went aftera high profile ex raiders coach bill callahan then he went 27-22 the next four years.

Who did I want BEFORE Miles was hired?

The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune reported Monday that Del Rio is among a group of four top candidates that includes Louisville's Bobby Petrino, Oklahoma State's Les Miles and Cleveland Browns interim coach Terry Robiskie.

JACK DEL RIO was who I was hoping they would hire when Saban left.

Miles is a GREAT recruiter.

He's also a great developer of players.

You guys end up being loaded year in and year out with NFL prospects.

He's an inconsistent game-day coach. Sometimes he game plans great games, sometimes he doesn't. Sometimes he (or Cam/Chavis, more accurately) calls good games, sometimes he doesn't. But you're not even in position to worry about the quality of the game plans or game calling without his recruiting and player development.

That 2011 team was a great, great football team, and it was all Miles.

We are a more talented team than most of you give us credit for. Freeze is actually a pretty good coach and we wanted the win a lot more. This loss doesn't represent a colossal failure by Miles.

That just gave me a flashback, '12 NC, players milling about wanting to be COACHED, and LM just standing there, oblivious, stone faced, hoping someone would "make a play".

Do you think a football team should never take risks?

Should we just accept 9-4 seasons because the alternative could be worse--although it could be better?

I am simply tired of watching 9-4 teams losing games they could have won if the game plan and game day execution were there. I honestly believe that under Miles, this is the way things always will be. I have no faith going forward that we will ever win another championship game under Miles.

If we accept that to be the case--and I really do feel that most here agree, it is in our best interest to at least take a chance and go in another direction. We may lose more--and probably will, in the beginning--but I feel it is the only sound option if we want to build a dominant football team for the years to come.

I think there are many coaches who could come here and recruit as well and better than miles has and even more that could manage the game and talent better than he can.

I guess the question is whether winning 80% of your games is worth $3.8 mil a year.

i dont want peterson, the boise coaches have been failures outside of boise. I dont want muschamp because we see he isn't good. I dont think del rio is a option.

someone that can't type you out calling someone else a dumb arse is pretty golden.

Dinardo got us started on the path to good recruiting. He brought in guys like Faulk and that started to cut off the florida state and Michigan pipeline into Louisiana. All you have to do is look back at the old LSU teams and its littered with star players from Louisiana. We have periods where we lose control and someone like Florida state or Michigan comes down and swipes our talent while down. Dinardo started to cut them off and Saban built a wall around us that Miles maintained until Saban returned to the sec.

We can have a good to average recruiter at head coach as long as we have some Frank Wilson level recruiters on the staff.

That's putting it mildly. But of course you being an Ole Miss fan would love LSU to continue on this course with Miles.

as I addressed in the other thread our fans fear becoming Tennessee or Nebraska. The issue is we aren't either one of them. They are fricking has beens in the college football world. The population surrounding them is not athletic and its slow. We are in a hot bed for recruiting and we have talent all around us besides just being in state. We aren't going to fall like them unless we pull a ole miss and hire someone on the level of Ed O.

Ill admit its a gamble in firing les miles but if we aren't going to be winning titles and we settle into 7-5 - 10 -2 why not gamble. we wont fall off like them because of our natural advantages. We have a program identity that is top 12 or so in college football history, we got a taste of top level success for the last 10 years and its slipping.

I still say our best option and only realistic option is staff changes and im talking major shake up. I want cam to decide the fate of the offensive coaches outside of wilson. He should be the only coach that is not on the chop block because of how important his recruiting is. The defensive side change has to happen and the new dc should then make the decision of how to handle the dl,lb coach and db coach.

Actually, I pull for LSU every year except for Ole Miss week. I was pulling for LSU over Bama in the 2012 NCG. LSU winning the SEC West or NCs doesn't bother me like, say, MSU winning the SEC West would.

It's usually a fun team to watch and you guys would be crazy to get rid of Miles. The only reason you're dissatisfied is because of the machine Saban's built over in Tuscaloosa. No one else has that.

That's why people feel Miles should go. Resign. LSU has the talent to match up with Alabama, but have been outcoached the last couple of games.

You have every reason to feel good about Ole Miss football right now. It would be fun to see your team play for the SEC Championship one day in the future.

I am sure that there are a lot of Florida fans that would be happy to take an even swap today.
