One Loss (Bama) Scenario

Should the tigers lose close to Bama and win out what would need to happen for us to have to sneak into the playoffs?
Here are some items that would help:
1) Florida wins SEC and occupies one playoff spot
2) Total Big 12 Carnage - Ok. State, TCU, Baylor beat up each other
3) Notre Dame loses to Stanford - ND's loss to Clemson would be the equivalent to LSU's loss to Bama and we need ND to have 2 losses so that eliminates the national love affair with ND
4) Clemson loses to Florida State
What else would need to happen for us to get in?

Stanford would have to lose another one probably.
If they beat Notre Dame they will have momentum. Especially considering they would be a conference champion most likely.

5. Stanford would need to lose 1 more.
In this scenario by the OP and my addition, the big 10 winner gets in, Florida gets in, and the last 2 are up for grabs with all the one loss teams. I mean it's sweet that people think an undefeated Houston or Toledo or Memphis matter, but for the national championship, nah.
LSU will have the best resume in my homer opinion, so they get a spot. The final spot is between a one loss team from the Big 12, a one loss Clemson or FSU if they win out, or a 1 loss team from the big 10.

Simple answer is for Bama to lose again (Auburn or State). Even with the loss, LSU would be the only west team with 1 loss and would go to the SEC championship game.

Under the scenario envisioned, Bama would lose to Florida in Atlanta.

Let us just play this week's game, first!

There will be two 1 loss SEC teams in the playoff if Clemson, ND, and Stanford all lose a game. Book it
