Going against the grain on this thread, I fully believe this game should not be played this weekend and I think our leadership believes similarly.
But in order to assure that this game was not ever going to be moved to Baton Rouge, our leadership has to play all the way up to the last minute as if there is a chance it can be played in Gainesville. That way, the SEC can not force the game to be moved to BR because of the logistical issues it would cause.
To dive further into conspiracy theory, I'm not so sure that coach Mac isn't jacked that this game won't be played. We are better than LSU, but we are not better than them when our DLine is all banged up like it is now.
Moreover, they may be working out the details of the makeup game that will be played the week before the FSU game. Buyout Presbies and South Alabama and reschedule.

Yeah..
..and Fournette, Clapp, Weathersby and Moreau are all out for LSU.
Injuries happen to everyone, but gaming the system to avoid playing your scheduled game is pure bullshite.
