All I know is this, once Zach Mettenberg gets in a game and leads this team to victory, the starting QB gig is his. We don't need the whole playbook to win with Zach, and that's the fact.

How many Div I starts does he have under his belt?

What's his record?

What are you basing this off of? Juco?

my beliefs are that everything is perfect.
when the oc job went to stud, i said it was good.

when the fight happened, i go into sadness and compassion.

but, if the qb job goes to lee or zm, it is all sychonicity, and it is good.

the sadness is compounded by the fact that it might involve many young men who were acting in a pack mentality and did wrong.

my thoughts and prayers are that it will all pass over, but, at my advanced age, i know everything works out for the better.

Ask yourself this, does JJ perform as well at Butler as ZM did? If your answer is yes, then I'm not wasting anymore of my facts on you. Well, only this last one. JJ wouldn't come close to matching ZM's juco season.

Ive prob talked to 15 different people on the phone about htis today,, and every singel fricking person agrees its Jarret Lee's opportunity to shine.

why some of you have such a dislike for this guy is mind boggling.. its almost like its cool to not like JLee but god forbid you dont like or say something neg about JJ.

I wonder if Auburn fans were asking these questions last year. The kid's resume is damn near identical to Cam's.

JJ's running ability to keep defense honest

I don't understand this argument. So Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning have some great running ability to keep defenses honest? What is harder to defend: A team that runs the ball, including with the QB, that has an inaccurate QB or a team with a great running attack and a QB that can deliver the ball to his receivers? LSU would keep defenses honest by giving 30 carries to Ware and Co. and throwing the ball 25-30 times with a legit QB.

Watching ZM it's clear the kid has the poise and leadership qualities you need in a QB.

Yeah,I agree with you 100%.No way Jl should have been pulled out of that game.Kid finally gets his confidence back and you yank him.I really enjoyed seeing him pumped up after that drive,he deserved it.Actually he deserved more.

I must be slow but could you please explain how a running qb who has accuracy issues keeps a defense honest versus a power running team? As JJ27 said you would think a qb who is a threat to burn a defense that stacks the line would be more of a threat to keep a defense honest?????

More so than a qb who the defense actually fears can hurt them throwing the ball if they load the box?
