Usually they will say "they haven't been contacted", but not their agent. Maybe they contacted his wife.

I like that response, It sounds like he is willing to listen. Much better than him saying that he is in no way interested in the LSU job and would never leave Houston for LSU. Or that LSU has contacted him and he has no interest what so ever. Sounds like a very promising response to me. Sounds like we are on his mind. Like it. He is the only coach I want but thought we had no shot at him.
