It is possible Maea has worked his arse of during the summer and shows up ready to play LT.

It's great seeing we have so many good OLineman that u can make a case for multiple guys starting and no matter who it is the line will be solid

Les mentioned 6 OL's during media days. Pocic, Clapp, Teuhema, Weathersby, Malone, and Boutte. I think the first four will definitely start.
I've heard some good comments about Okeke and Brown and I think they feel decent about Dodd as a center. I actually love Pocic as a guard, but the main deal this year is to get quality play from the tackles.

Put Harris in a year round camp.

That's the optimistic view, which is the view I usually favor, but my initial reaction when I heard Miles mention Teuhema as the left tackle was "here we go again." Or as Yogi Berra put it, "It's like déjà vu all over again." This seems to be very similar to the situation with Vadal Alexander playing tackle last year (and various other OL arrangements over the years with Miles). Alexander really struggled at times against the speed rush, and I think that's the possible issue for Teuhema at LT. Teuhema is a young guy, though, and there are guys every year who make big improvement leaps and go through big-time body transformations, but going off last year, I see him as a guard.
If I'm picking a left tackle out of this group, it's Ethan Pocic. That obviously means you'd have to replace him at center, and I think that might mean a neglection in recruiting because I haven't seen it in Dodd to where I'd be comfortable with him as the starting center (I also think Pocic has been somewhat overrated at center -- he has really had some issues with some of the big DTs). I think Will Clapp could probably be a great center, but I also think he has the potential to be one of the best guards in the nation -- I thought Clapp was the best, most consistent offensive lineman last year.

I think Pocic is the center period. Don't think Clapp took a snap at center in Spring which makes zero sense if he was any option there.
My question is why Weathersby hasn't been at LT. If he's the sold tackle that's where he makes the most sense and then Malone can play RT.
Wasn't word on Okeke was although very talented he was extremely raw and may take another year. MT scares crap out of me at LT but we will see.

The best 5 will emerge in fall camp. Miles basically told you the 5 they would like to see at SEC MD16.
LT - Teuhema
LG - Clapp
C - Pocic
RG - Boutte
RT - Weathersby
IMO, this is exactly what I expect for game 1.

This is realistically the starting lineup against Wisky. There will be others sitting and waiting that is for sure.

Another important factor is the extensional aspect -- the TEs. If Jeter is the main blocker, I think that could be an issue against certain teams. Alabama in particular -- it's going to take a superhuman effort by anyone in college football to block Ryan Anderson and Tim Williams.
Foster Moreau may play a more prominent role -- I thought he did well as a frosh. I really don't know what to expect with DeSean Smith and Jacory Washington -- I think they should have been playing more prominent roles, in the passing game at least.

How long has Clapp been listed as a center on the LSU website? Last year has OG/C, this year just C is listed. First time I've looked at it so may have been there a while.

Dodd is not ready to be a starting center in the SEC. It's either Pocic or Clapp.

WRONG!
Malone has the quickest feet among all Offense lineman. He showed out when they put him in against Syracuse.

No you're wrong. Weathersby is the projected starter at RT

Yeah, I checked the roster when I first saw this thread, and I was surprised to see his position as center. I remembered hearing that he was working at center before he he became a full-time guard, but I didn't hear Miles mention that as a possibility at Media Days.
