We got 7 #1 votes, to 'Bama's 9 #1 votes.

Interesting.

This win over Oregon is huge now, but it will be stronger latter on in the season

Pace yourselves. I'd rather not be #1 this early in the year.

Just win the games on our schedule and the rest will take care of itself.

the point differential went from 118 to 46 between us and bama. Not that anyone cares, or that it matter, just putting it out there.

I guess Alabama's thrashing of formidable Kent State was enough to keep their candy-asses seated in 2nd.

That's fine, we play better with a grudge.

I'm surprised Oregon dropped 11 spots...I figured they'd be a few spots higher than that.

So we took votes away from Bama, not OU. If Bama struggles against Penn State we will move to #2. But I really don't care much for the popularity polls.

Yeah, and you forgot to mention that Kent State was ranked 116th out of 119 Division I Teams. Impressive win for Alabama.

well we likely made most of the points up just on people who had oregon rated higher than us.

If i had to guess.

Nice jump for MooU and Florida. Hope both win big leading up to our games with them so we'll have good matchups with ranked teams.

MooU could be low teens after this weekend.
