Oklahoma just validated Coach O’s comments

Lincoln Riley lets his team go see family and friends because the season is delayed. When the team returned, 9 players tested positive. The previous 5 weeks, they only had 1 positive.
As Coach O echoed, these players are safer in the controlled environment they are provided by the university.

Coach O was right again.

Positive tests are going to be a headache through the whole season. These are 18-22 year old kids. You aren’t going to keep them away from friends, girlfriends, parties, etc.

Anybody that’s not insane could see that they are more safe in a controlled environment than back home. The Pac 12 and Big Ten have been fully brainwashed and it’s embarrassing to see.

You aren’t going to keep them away from COVID-19 either. This quarantine and insulating everyone from natural progression is a complete farce.

Also, positive tests mean jack shite to their age demographic.
Essentially no chance of a hospitalization, much less death.

From what I read 75% of the team stayed in Norman
& the rest of the student body returned to school, which is what seemed to be the big issue outside of not having team activities to focus on

This just tells me how many people actually have or have had Covid
These players had to get tested and look at the positive results. So if everyone got tested the numbers would be crazy high
Which means the death rate is hardly anything

In related news... Justin Jefferson just scored again

Which is why we should have been letting players get a cold in may so they are good to go.

Still crazy to think we could have scored 90 points on Oklahoma if we wanted to

The decision to lock down your players, prevent them from seeing friends and family doesnt have to depend on playing in a conference that is planning to play this fall or not.
The science is there, until their is a vaccine the virus will spread communally. Preventing communal spread doesnt have to be related with the decision to play college football or not.

I have been posting what you just wrote constantly on here since this panicdemic began. The death rate is STATISTICALLY nothing. It's even low for the old folks. The flu kills old, health compromised people too.

Not at the rate COVID does. The 3.4% mortality rate, regardless of how small the number is globally, will be enough to fuel the fear for quite some time.

40% of the deaths are elderly citizens sentenced to a death sentence by just FIVE Democrat governors. Remove those mandates by the American SS and 3.4% is less than 2%.
The numbers are inflated by the extreme negligence by 5 morons / murderers. If you are below the age of 50, COVID is not a concern for the VAST majority of that demographic.
As for fear porn, you are correct that the Karens of the world are living in a perpetual state of anxiety. It really is sad.
