If OSU beats OU and makes it to the BCSNC I can't wait to see what all the talking heads say about how unfair it is to Bama and blah blah blah

Iowa State winning wouldn't help OSU's cause, because Kansas State is currently their best win. I'd think they'd want them to finish 10-2. But I really don't think that game matters at all since they played both.

The only help might be that a voter or two decides that OSU's lost to Iowa State isn't disqualifying.

Hopefully, however, it doesn't help Bama in the fringe factors (computer polls, etc).

They also referred to Southern Mississippi University as Mississippi State.

OSU would have wins over 4-5 current top 25 teams and 9 bowl eligible teams. Iowa st would also be bowl eligible with wins over 2 top 25 teams. They would also be conference champions.

The voters would be entering dangerous territory for shutting out OSU with that resume and only losing to a bowl eligible team in double overtime.

OSU will have the consensus #2 computer score with a win today.

I had understood Oklahoma State's comp. numbers to be stronger than Bama's. If they win tonight, they have a good chance of the voters going their way. The rest of the country has no desire to see 2 SEC teams playing in the NC, especially when one had already beat the other in a regular divisional season game! Bama had their shot, lets let another team who accomplished winning their respective conf. have a turn. I hope the voters won't eat the shite ESPN has been trying to force feed everyone else.

The thing I caught listening to a game last night was that they are promoting it,(the rematch), to get little nicki a title shot. The announcers of the Oregon game gave no credit to LSU or coach and talked of saban and bama getting another title in 3 years.
i thinnk this is beginning to look like what they all are pushing for. It is all about getting bama in the nc game and giving them the title.
I hope I am wrong.
I think this Tiger team will not relent until they are champs. The Want lives on.

Pollsters don't care what ESPN and the other talking heads have to say. If OSU wins, just wins, they will have a real shot at getting in. In fact, I predict they will get in with a win...mark it down.

ESPN is for entertainment and ratings...they are selling the best scenario for the most viewers.
