When asked about the status of two of LSU's 2015 signees, Miles cleared the air in a big way.
Miles said five-star offensive lineman Chidi Valentine-Okeke has been cleared to report in August, Ross Dellenger of The Advocate reported. However, four-star safety Jeremy Cutrer won't end up playing for the Tigers, with Miles adding that he had been "set free", reported TigerSportsDigest's Ben Love.
Earlier this summer the Tigers got the good news that four-star defensive end Arden Key was cleared and would report for the start of camp during the first week of August. Valentine-Okeke will arrive at the same time.

Well out of the positions we can spare a loss, it is most certainly DB.

So Cutrer signed with LSU, couldn't make grades and went JUCO, and then signed and failed to make grades again? I'm guessing that scenario doesn't happen often

Sucks about Cutrer but Valentine getting in is FANTASTIC news. He may start next year after Hawkins and Vadal leave.

Valentine-Okeke, Weathersby, and Teuhema on that line is going to destroy defenses in a few years.... and with Guice (prayers sent), Brossette, and Ducre running behind them..

I know him personally, and trust me, you don't want him balancing your checkbook. Great guy, but he ain't all there.
