Honestly there are always plenty on sale. Most people dont charge more than what they paid. But either way you will be paying for more than face value of each ticket because of TAFF. I buy mine off a buddy that's had them in his family for years and we just have it set up where i pay LSU on a plan.

this....I been having season tix going on 15 years and have been thinking about doing this soon ...

I would probably cut what I spend in half...

the one thing I would miss is we have been sitting around the same people for years and really enjoy our seats....

Check the ticket exchange on a regular basis. A lot of people will sell their season tickets for what they pay for them (including taff) before the season starts. That's you best option to get tickets in the lower bowl.

But in 20 years I want my own in the lower bowl. And why should I pay taff for someone else to get the bowl ticket options?

Get your name on the list for season tickets.

Go to every home game even New Mexico State.

The people who buy them every year are LSU's best supporters. They are the foundation of our athlwetic programs.

The people who buy just the games they really want to go to are bandwagoners unless they have money or job restrictions that preclude them from going to all home games.

LSU needs fans not bandwagoners.

Call TAF. They can give you a rough estimate of how much you need to donate.

I'm just telling you the best way to get tickets in the lowers now. Unless you donate a LOT of money, you aren't getting tickets anywhere but in the uppers ...if at all. Sell your tickets in the upper deck when you get them, and buy tickets down in the bowl until you can move down there on your own. No one is going to sell you their season tickets for face value and eat the Taff fees, that's part of buying the tickets.

If you are patient and want to spend little, donate 100 dollars to TAF every year. You should have enough points to get upper deck tickets at the end of five years.

if you are impatient, donate 5 grand this year. You may or may not get the chance at tickets, but with the addition you may get lucky.

If you donate five grand this year and five grand next year, you will likely get the chance at lower bowl tickets for 2015.

For the rest of your life, donate at least 100 bucks to taf each year you accrue a lot of points over time by donating that little.

That is a guideline. Call TAF for details. I did and they personally did a town visit and took me to lunch. They explained everything and made suggestions based upon my goals.
