In year 1? I think next year could be a rough rebuilding year. Here's how I see it playing out. There is a realistic chance we go 7-5 (3-5 in the SEC). Hoping it's better but with rebuilding a depleted team, staff, uncertainly at QB, and instilling new culture. . .this is what's looking realistic to me. Would love to hear any reasoning as to why it could be better.

FSU: W
SU: W
Moo St: W
New Mexico: W
@ Aub: L
UT: W (only bc it's at home, if this was away then L)
@UF: L (interesting game b/c will be the 1st for rebuilding coaches BK and Napier, but I'm giving UF the home field advantage)
Ole Piss: W (again, could go either way but giving us the home field)
Bama: L
@ Arky: L (close one but Arky has continuity w Pittman)
UAB: W
@ aTm: L

I think 8-4 is a realistic goal for 2022.

I think BK will make us a contender in the SEC again but it might take 2-3 years for that.

We all saw the Texas Bowl, that's our starting point. For BK's first year, 8-5 in a lower tier bowl will be fine while he rebuilds the roster.

Look the team needs some work before it's ready to contend for a natty but I also don't think we lose to every good team we play as you have laid out. I think 9-3 is possible, 8-4 is more likely, so somewhere more in that area

Basketball demonstrates how much leadership matters. 8-4 1st year is reasonable since they should win the 4 non-conference games.

10 wins should be the expectation in 23 going forward.

10 wins including the bowl game is an attainable and realistic goal.

11-1 with a loss to Alabama. BK wins coach of the year, Brennan and Boutte are Heisman finalists and we find ourselves in the CFP over a two loss UGA.

I think we really have to see how the portal works for and against us in the coming weeks. Plus if we can get a few of those high school players that have us on their radar to sign.

9-3. SEC W is still weak next year. We could even do 10-2.

You seriously think we’re gonna be 7-5 with Myles coming back, Boutte, Bech, Nabors and Jenkins to throw to, and the hosses we have on our D-line? Lol. 9-3, 8-4 at the worst his first year, in playoff discussions his second. I wouldn’t be shocked if we were in playoff discussions this year honestly. The dude can coach. I expect our OL to be much improved under Davis in his 2nd year. They really started to play well once he simplified things, see Florida and Bama games. We’ll be competing for nattys year in and year out by his 3rd year. Transfer portal and NIL will be key, but I expect he’ll have kids lining up to come play for him once they see results and us on an upward trend.
