If Jimbo Fisher will truly leave FSU to come here, he is hands down the best choice by far. His resume has everything on it we're looking for. EVERYTHING. National Championship, coached at LSU, offensive mind, develops QBs (last three drafted in 1st round), has a strong running game (Heisman contender at RB), loves Baton Rouge and has friends there, he'd most likely retire at LSU, he wants to compete in the SEC again, knows Saban well, knows the Louisiana high schools, recruits extremely well, and finally... he knows exactly how to take over a program from a coach that's past his prime.

Tom Herman seems to be the consensus here.

Watching Houston play Cinn last night didn't show me where all the hype is coming from. In fact probably half of the folks or more on here would not like his spread system with a dual threat QB. I just say that because most of the QB posts on here lament recruiting DT QB's...

What I did see is he don't hold nothing back in magazine.

Me, personally, I am all in for Fisher.

I have a lot of interest in seeing how Josh McDaniels will do as a head coach one day. Not necessarily at LSU for his first gig, but that many years under Belichick, he knows all of the ins-and-outs of the system. And remember, Saban was a Belichick product.

That's just plain ignorant, or disingenuous at best. MOST of the posts lamenting DT QB's is due to Miles' insistence on cramming them into a Pro Style offense.
