Not sure exactly where you're going with this, but the reason KW didn't get more playing time right off the bat was because he had transcript issues, which forced him to miss both the summer strength and conditioning program and fall camp. I don't think he was able to practice until class started.

he never got a fair shake, really. His YPC was off the charts. He had a monster JR year at Northside and if he would have been able to play his SR year, prob would have been the top RB in the nation.

Big, strong, fast, agile, just like LF. Basically a spitting image.

I'm taking it that your opinion is based more on your thoughts about Miles as a coach than LF as a player.

It's based on what almost every coach in the country would do.

I agree.

I guess I'll just stick with the early and often prediction.
He'll be the starter by mid-season but he'll worked in slowly at first. That's my prediction.

Awesome. I think we both agree that we're looking forward to a lot of great moments with LF.

LF is going to be the lead back. You don't not recruit a back in 2011-12 and then sign the best player in the state in 20 plus years and not make him the lead back. Picking up blitzes is not something that happens on every play. He will learn that but it is not going to keep him from being the lead back. He will see the ball early and often against Wisconsin. He is the one back they will have not seen on film except high school.

There's a reason those other guys weren't featured backs in the past, they weren't that talented.

If LF DOOM is as good as advertised, I don't see any way he's kept off the field. Same with Brandon Harris. I just hope he's given the shot. My gut tells me Miles believes in seniority.

If you go strictly by tape it's not even close.

5'11 and 6'2 are not spitting images. LF weight 225 now. KW was only 210. KW wasn't a punisher and LF is. I can go on and on

For real. I loved KW and Charles Scott and they played outstanding for LSU.

But neither were or ever will legitimately compare to LF. Neither have done anything in the NFL. I will be shocked if LF isn't an NFL starter in 5-6 years.

Neither has LF. Nor has he done anything in college. You'd think after Wednesday, LSU fans would have learned to slow their roll on placing huge expectations on 18 year old kids.

Joe McKnight was gonna be the GOAT too. In 3 years at USC, he (barely) got over 1,000 yards once and currently remains unsigned in the NFL.

To me it seems he'll do with his gifts what he wants regardless of LSU fans. He has higher expectations than anyone.

KW has produced in the NFL no doubt, and if you disagree you're something else.

But their high school tape's don't compare. And LF was playing in a tougher league.

So we're going to handcuff the #1 overall player?

and people wonder why rantards have the rep it has now among players.

fixed it

If everything I see on tape can translate enough at the college level I see no reason he's not a major contributor against Wisconsin. Idk if he'll be the feature back season, even he said he recognizes LSU runs a 2 back system when talking on if Hill stays, but as long as proves himself in camp I see no reason to think he won't be one of those 2 backs

Fournette starts from DAY ONE and never give's his starting role up.

He becomes the Les Miles work horse ala Steven Ridley 2010, Charles Scott 2008.

I just think people don't understand just how good fournette is yet...

This is the most talked about player that I can remember.

People are comparing him to adrian peterson for a reason.

Maybe we could just wait to see the kid take his first college snap before declaring him the best ever! Jesus you mothers have got the whole thing figured out already!

Jeremy Hill is really good man and will be missed.

Look I am not what you would call a huge Les fan, but the guy knows how to manage a stable of backs and stagger playing time so the best are freshest for the big games at the end of the season. You have to admit we always have fresh legs, LF will be fine.

People forget already about magee. He is a very talented back. He will be ?the starter at ?the beginning of the year and fournette will eventually take his spot halfway through the year.

Sorry but I'll wait til LF takes his first snap as a tiger before I call him GOAT and next Adrian Peterson. This is not a knock on LF at all. But I can care less about what these guys have done in high school. He will have to come in and earn ?the spot. You have to take the spot from a guy who averaged 7.3 ypc last year. I don't do handouts
