Neighbors had 2 attempts for 1 yard all season. Did I watch him play? I did, that's why I asked the question. So you mean to tell me he is the clear cut starter if Hilliard comes back? If so, then why in the hell Coach Miles put Hilliard in at FB at times.

its not about how many times he carried the ball its about how many times he makes blocks in the hole for Hill etc.

And the back half of the season he played more than Copeland and was better at it.

You don't understand the purpose of a fullback in organized football do you?

He played more when Copeland was hurt. This thread is not about how good Neighbors is. I'm sure Hilliard would be a bigger asset because he can actually run and catch. And no, Copeland was the clear starter not Neighbors. All positions are up for grabs.

You are going to be disappointed when Neighbors starts and plays FB 90% of the time next year.

No you obviously don't either watch the games attentively or watch the FB position. Neighbors was taking more half the snaps even before Copeland got hurt. And he took almost 40% of the snaps in 2012.

If you go back and look at Hill's TD's over the last two seasons, you'll notice Neighbors was in on a lot of them.

Towards the end of the season for sure. He will carry the FB load next year, but we need a backup...

you couldn't be more wrong, if you actually watched you would have seen that Neighbors was a far better lead blocker than Copeland, wasn't even close.

I like how people think it's like a video game and we can just plug Hilliard in there and OMG TWO RUNNING BACKS AT ONCE
