Ok, again, WHY is Brad Edwards still considered the "BCS Guru"?

He consistently gets it wrong, and he is wrong again. Asked who is the biggest winner, he said Alabama because Oregon has already played their biggest game and didn't pass Alabama.

This guy, like most of the BCS prognosticators, almost always underestimates the human voter element and relies too heavily on the computer numbers. Oregon as the PAC 12 Champ will get more votes AND they will get a bump in the computers by playing the extra game in the PAC 12 Championship.

He was good before it became a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 split. It's too easy now.

He has no way to know how the voters are going to vote. He can only rely on the comps and past polls for models. Thats why he seems to be wrong.

Bama will get jumped by OU and Oregon (assuming they win out) after the final polls come out. Their hope for a rematch is a pipe dream at best.

Not that I agree with Brad but It's looking more like Oregon will play a bad ucla team and the game will be played at Oregon for the championship. They wont get many votes for that beat down.

Because ESPN says he is.

All bow down at the altar of ESPN.

Chant rythmically, "ESPN ... ESPN"

IM - HO - TEP ... IM-HO-TEP...

Herbstreit just said that they'd probably play Arizona St.

Why would an anemic ucla go to the championship?

Right, but mark it down, the voters will NOT allow an all SEC BCS championship game. At the end of the season, if they win out, it will be Oregon.

ABSOLUTELY. I was just texting that to my dad. All the "experts" are going to get right back on to the Bama bandwagon and start blowing that freaking horn again.

If Oregon wins out it's Oregon

If not then it's bama

I have many questions.
Why would LSU even play jawja if it's bama in a rematch?

If LSU loses to Arky then what?

I don't know how samrt he is, fishstik, but the computer has not been friendly to the PAC 10 this season. It is a weak conference. First off, I think Oregon could very well lose to OSU in the civil war. Oklahoma won't make it, even if they win out; computer can't forgive a 34 point loss at home to Texas Tech. I believe we will see the gumps in January, and the N.O. folks have got to be tickled pink about it. Tigers.

The Gumps play Georgia Southern this week so their SOS will take a hit in the CPU alogorithms.

If Oregon kicks the shite out of USC this week, they could easily move past Alabama to #2.
