Im sorry I agree with Brad on this one for 3 reasons.
1. Alabama has too big of a lead(computer numbers wise) in the polls over Oregon for them to be jumped over by Oregon. Besides, outside of LSU Oregon's strongest opponent was Stanford on the schedule who they trashed by 23 points and STILL didnt jump Bama after that. Oregon cant get over Alabama unless the human polls OVERWHEMINGLY feel Oregon is a better team than Bama which is hard for me to swallow at this point.
2. Oklahoma was the ONLY 1 loss team rooting for Oke St to win because it would have helped their cause tremendously. I always felt that out of all the 1 loss teams Oklahoma had the best chance to hop Bama in the polls because they had the number 2 team in the nation left on their schedule to play. A convincing win would have put them over the top.
3. Lets face it. Whether we want to admit it or not. If we ranked all the 1 loss teams as it stands now Alabama is number 1. There isnt a team in the top ten outside of LSU who I would favor over Alabama on a neutral field. Then add to the fact that with Oke St losing it only adds fuel to the media fire for a rematch.
Note: The ONLY thing I see preventing a rematch betwen Bama/LSU is the anti-SEC sentiment across the country. Because if there is a rematch it guarantees a 6th straight national title for the SEC. Another year of "SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC!".

You just answered why there will be no rematch. Brad Edwards is a bama grad who possesses the inability to project the human element. Bama will be jumped in the human element after champ week.
